Society and Literature: Locating Filipinism in Developing National Literature
In this age of technology and education that leans towards being global, it is important for us to revisit the roots of our Filipino identity like ancient and regional literature, because the ideas that come from it will give us an understanding of who we are as Filipinos. Our writings, especially the works in the Mass Literature are the clearest mirror of who we are as a people. It serves to convey the deepest essence of our Filipino identity.

Cooperative‑Collaborative Learning in Enhancing Creative Writing Performance
Using the action research design, this study aimed to test and examine the effectiveness of cooperative-collaborative learning using the specific strategy, Team Pair Solo, in enhancing their creative writing skills. Triangulation is also used in this study to examine, verify, and cross-check the data at different angles such as observation, analysis of the pre and post writing composition, and from the interviews of the students.

Artistic Norms and Political Standards-Issues in the Writing of a Philippine Literary History
Philippine literary history comes in various guises, e.g., accounts of the development of specific genres; investigations on sources and influences, or attribution and authenticity; studies of movements and traditions; and general literary histories. What are the underlying assumptions and principles of these histories? Is Philippine literary history simply a component of our social and political history, or is it the history of Philippine literature as art?
